Do I have to attend both tryout dates?
Answer: We recommend both but it is not mandatory.

I registered for tryouts but I haven’t heard anything.
Answer: Upon registering, you will get a confirmation email. As we get closer to the date, you will receive another email confirming the schedule and other pertinent details.

My child plays a year up on his current team. Can I register for tryouts for that age group or do I have to register for his own birth year?
Answer: You must register for your appropriate birth year.

Is there a chance of being promoted to a higher level team or an age up?
Answer: Yes, we determine player movements throughout the season based on ability.

Where do your teams train/tryout locations?
Answer: Facilities – Southshore Sportsplex Apollo Beach

Can I try out for a specific team such as UPSL ACADEMY?
Answer: There is one tryout for each age group. Offers will go out for the team that we deem appropriate for you.

When can I expect a decision after trying out?
Answer: Decisions on roster spots/offers/rejections, will be emailed to players within 72 hours of the tryout date.

Can I train with the team before trying out? I want to get a feel for the training and environment.
Answer: Unfortunately, with the number of registered players for tryouts and a large number of requests, we are not able to accommodate. However, if you are accepted, we can arrange for you to join a session to assist in making your decision.

Can you let me know who the coach will be for the new season?
Answer: The coaching assignments for the 2026/27 season will be made at the end of the Spring season.
